2 Crivitz Non-Profits In Thrivent Choice
Crivitz Area Food Pantry and Crivitz Youth, Inc. are now able to receive grant funding from Thrivent Financial through the Thrivent Choice Program.
The program allows eligible Thrivent Financial members to recommend how a portion of Thrivent Financials charitable funds are distributed. Nationwide, $49 million in funding was distributed to over 22,000 enrolled congregations and non-profit organizations through the program in 2013. More than $170 million has been distributed since the program began in 2010.
Thrivent Financial is a financial services organization that helps Christians be wise with money and live generously. The organization offers a broad range of products and services along with guidance from financial representatives nationwide. For more than a century it has helped its nearly 2.4 million member-owners make wise money choices that reflect their values.
Seeing our members have a say about how charitable dollars are given in their communities is rewarding, said Ashley McKinnon, FIC, Financial Representative serving Crivitz. Thrivent Choice is one of many outreach programs available from Thrivent Financial designed to help strengthen communities and change lives.
Crivitz Youth, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality programs and opportunities for the young people of the Crivitz area. In 1972, Crivitz Youth, Inc. Teen Center was opened for youth in grades 6-12.
The Crivitz Area Food Pantry provides food for low income individuals in the Crivitz area. The food pantry is open for pick-up the first and third Wednesday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon.
