Lori Ann (Godfrey) Williams, 54, formerly of Gladstone, Mi., passed away July 18, after a short battle with cancer.
Born to Diane Robinson of Kingsford and the late Clay A. Robinson, Sr., her most prized possessions were her grandchildren. Her sister Anna was the special angel that helped her through a short battle with cancer.
She is survived by three children, Nicole Johnston, of Gladstone, Jerome (Mallory) Godfrey, of Kingsford and Christopher Baur, of Rapid River; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Terry (Sue) Robinson, of Lansing, Clay Jr., (Lisa) Robinson, of Niagara and Randy (Roxanne) Deneau, of Iron Mountain; eight sisters, Bobbi Sue Robinson and Laurie (Vern) Morrow, of Lansing, Peggy Demais, of Kalkaska, Connie (Ted) Goetz, of Norway, Vera (Ralph) Basson, of Scotia, N.Y., Kim (Chad) Tregillis, of Quinnesec and Kerrie (Adam) Steinbrecher, of Niagara and a special sister and best friend, Anna (Rick) Forstrom, of Quinnesec and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband and soul mate, Michael Williams; her father, Clay Robinson, Sr. and a granddaughter, Kaitlyn Meenger.
Services were held Saturday, Aug. 2 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church on North U.S. 2, with Pastor Miller officiating.
