William H. VonBlaskewicz
William H. VonBlaskewicz, 63, of Peshtigo, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 5 at home, after a battle with cancer.
Born Dec. 25, 1950, in Lara, Mi., he graduated from Gladstone High School and later earned his Forestry Degree. He then served in the Coast Guard for four years and on April 10, 2009 married Patricia Snyder in Peshtigo. He worked in the wood industry his entire life, most recently at Aacer Flooring. He enjoyed Star Trek collectibles and the Green Bay Packers.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; a son, Matthew Asaro; four daughters, Tina (Jeff) Veriha, Mistie Anderson, Chris (Joe) Branstrom and Amy Daughenbaugh; a sister, Donna Allen; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his birth and adoptive parents.
Friends called at Thielen Funeral Home on Friday, Aug. 8 from 4 p.m. until time of funeral services at 6 p.m. A Memorial Fund has been established.
