Coleman School Board Two Meetings Aug. 25
Coleman--The Coleman School Board will hold two metings on Monday, Aug. 25 in the Board Room.
A special meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. with a closed session on certified staff negotiations.
The board may repeat the above agenda items multiple times as necessary to complete the scheduled certified staff negotiations, thereby reconvening in open session after each closed session.
Members will reconvene to open session with possible action as a result of closed session.
The regular board meeting will follow at 6:30 p.m.
On that agenda are President's Welcome/Call to Order, Roll Call, Meet new staff, consent items of agenda, minutes from July 17 and 21, vouchers and financial report.
Questions and comments from the public will be followed by reports of Principals-Yvette Marshall and Doug Polomis, Superintendent Brian J. Walters and district spotlight.
Summer School update will be discussed.
Matters requiring action are set Regular Meeting Dates and times for the 2014-15 School Year, hiring of Lorie Karban, Administrative Assistant, and Rachel Nowak, 7th Grade Volleyball Coach.
Overload pay for Karl Peters, Physical Education Teacher, resignation of Douglas Jahnke, Technology Ed Instructor, and Georgi Kapalczynski, Special Education Aide.
Approve certified staff compensation, updates to staff handbooks, donation from Winsert for Washington D.C. trip, designate official newspaper for legal notices and postings, snowplowing bids, trash disposal and recycling services bids and other hirings and resignations.
