Jeffrey A. DesJarlais
Jeffrey Allan DesJarlais, 51, of Illinois, formerly of Menominee, passed away Thursday, July 10.
Born Aug. 16, 1962 in Menominee, MIi., to Alfred and Shirley (Bett) Barinotti, he was proud of his family and all that he had done. He enjoyed working at Underwriters Laboratories for 29 years.
A humble man with an open heart and easy smile, he never hesitated to put others before himself. He enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, cooking, entertaining family and friends and was involved in Boy Scouts.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon (Angeliu) DesJarlais; children, Nick and Amanda; three sisters, Diana (fiance Keith) DesJarlais, Dottie DesJarlais and Julie DesJarlais; two brothers, Scott (Lisa) Barinotti and DeWayne (Karen) DesJarlais; his extended family; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins and friends.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jackie DesJarlais.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21 from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Glueckert Funeral Home in Arlington Heights, Ill. Visitation continued on Tuesday, July 22 at St. Edna Catholic Church in Arlington Heights, Ill., from 9 a.m. until time of a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment was private. A memorial fund has been set up to help support his family and contributions may be made out to the Estate of Jeffrey A. DesJarlais.
