First Presbyterian Church Marks 125 Years Sept. 7
Pastor Linn Wittman and Pianist Susan Thornton go over some final musical selections for the 125th anniversary celebration of the First Presbyterian Church of Wausaukee slated for Sept. 7th.
The service of celebration will begin at 3 pm at the church with a luncheon to follow. The choir under the direction of Jerry Philipps, along with two other musical groups will share their talents at the anniversary.
The church provides services at 9 am each Sunday morning, Sunday School after school on Wednesdays, Vacation Bible school in the summer, and has tried to be the hands of Christ in the community by supporting local charities such as Pastor Fred's Food Pantry, back to school supplies, elderly meals, the WE store, interdenominational youth groups, as well as international efforts like We Care Solar.
