Wausaukee Fire Department received a RIT Pac purchased on behalf of the Messar family in memory of the late Rudy Messar who served as a firefighter for 35 years, 25 of them as fire chief. The firefighters would like to acknowledge the families unselfish contribution to our community. As members of both Lions Club and American Legion, as well, Rudy always had a passion for helping others. According to Fire Chief Eric Edlebeck, Everytime when we remove the RIT Pac from the truck, the inscription In memory of Rudy Messar will remind us of his unselfish service and dedication to the community.
