Kathy M. (Kakuk) Chaltry, 60, of Ingalls, Mi. passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018 at Aurora Bay Care Medical Center in Green Bay.
Born Oct. 3, 1958 in Menominee, Mi., to the late Stephen and Janice (Hornick) Kakuk, Jr., she attended Stephenson High School and enjoyed having lunch with the girls of the class of 1977.
She owned and operated Just Cakes of Stephenson, Mi. and was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church in Stephenson. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, golfing, gardening, sign making, painting and hunting, but her passion was baking and cooking.
She is survived by her partner, Ray LaPointe; a son, Robert (Mandy) Chaltry of Porterfield; a daughter, Tanya Fletcher of Stephenson; five grandchildren; three brothers, Steve (Gina) Kakuk, Bill (Lynn) Kakuk and Mark (Christine) Kakuk; a sister, Barbara Kakuk and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home in Stephenson, Mi. on Saturday, Dec. 21 from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Precious Blood Catholic Church in Stephenson. Fr Ron Timock will officiate with burial in Stephenson Township Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established with any expressions to be directed to Ray LaPointe.
