Peshtigo Clips Crivitz In Classic Rivalry Match

Win over Crivitz
The Peshtigo Boys held strong for a nice non-conference win over the Crivitz Wolverines 69-50 over the holiday week.
Leading the way for the Bulldogs was Mitchell Vanvooren who posted 26 points to lead all scorers during the game. Cade Tackmier scored 12 on the night while Reid Marquardt tacked on an extra 11 points.
Crivitz was led by the efforts of Dawson Andrist who amassed 17 points. 13 points were taken by Jaden Werner while Chandler Kaldenberg followed up with eight.
Coleman Slips In
Loss to Reedsville
The Coleman Cougar boys had a hard time this past week when they took on Reedsville who went on to win the contest 67-57.
At the half the gap was much narrower as Reedsville was barely ahead 23-20.
Payton Nelson did his best to give his Cougars a shot at the lead, taking the lions share for the Cougars with 20 points, enough for top scoring honors on the night as well. Teammates Logan Zeitler and Preston Gusick both tacked on nine points each.
Reedsville's Noah Roffers and Braiden Dvorcheck both got 18 points each while Cade Hafkey tossed in 16 points.
The Lena Wildcats held their annual Holiday Tournament last week and unfortunately for the home Court Wildcats, the competition was just a bit to hot as the Wildcats fell in both games, losing to Stockbridge 75-50 and Valley Christian 68-55.
Sevastopol bagged a win in the tourney opener, defeating Valley Christian 64-44.
During the contest with Stockbridge the Lena boys found themselves trailing and unable to catch Stockbridge who found themselves in the lead at half 46-28.
Stockbridge was led by the efforts of Jake Willett who posted 19 points and Noah Herman who posted 15.
Lena was led by the games top performer Colby Borchert who amassed 28 points for his Wildcats. Max Beyer followed up with six points.
Lena also had a tough going with the Valley Christian boys who bagged the win with a 13 point differential.
Beyer went on during game two to be the evenings top scorer with 24 points. Borchert chipped in 14 points while Logan Shallow added on 11.,
Valley Christian was led by Isaiah Wade with 16 points.
Marinette Win M&M
Marinette got out ahead and coasted to a 77-57 win over Menominee in a New Year's Day M&M game on Tuesday.
Marinette had three players score in double figures in the first half, with Jacob Poetzl scoring 14, Matt Wagner having 12 and Jeremy Wendt's 10. The Marines had 51 points at the halftime buzzer, nearly as much as Menominee did for the game.
Wagner finished with a team-high 25, Poetzl had 18 and Wendt scored 16.
Menominee's Keagan Monroe finished with 16. Jon Spegel scored nine and Aidan Bellisle had eight.
