Harold W. Ebben, 86, of Pound, passed away Sunday evening, Jan. 6, 2019 at his home in Pound.
Born Sept. 18, 1932 in West De Pere, to the late John and Anna (Albers) Ebben, he married Irene Kerkhoff on Sept. 18, 1956 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in De Pere and worked at Leicht Transfer and Storage for 34 years.
He loved being surrounded by family, making booyah, telling jokes, watching his garden grow, had a love for birds and was a member of Saint Anne's Parish in Coleman and White Potato Lake Sportsman Club.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Irene; six children, Judy (Rick) Burley, Kathy (Scott) Krieger, Sharon (Dan) Treml, Dennis (Laura) Ebben, Lori (Jeff) Champagne and Lisa (Dave) Earley; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren with two more expected soon and a brother, Raymond.
He was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Sarah Krieger and a brother and two sisters, Edward Ebben, Leona Kielpikowski and Jeanie Vanden Eng.
Family will greet relatives and friends at St. Anne Catholic Church in Coleman on Thursday, Jan. 10 from 9 a.m. until time of the service at 11 a.m., with Fr. Felix Abano officiating.
