
Harriet L. KollerIssue Date: January 13, 2021 Harriet L. (Bergman) Koller, 99, of Daggett, Mi., passed away Friday Jan. 8, 2021 at Menominee Health Services with her daughters, Bonnie and Carol at her side.
Born March 24, 1921, to the late John and Leontine Bergman in Daggett, Mi., she married Robert A. Kuntze on April 25, 1938 and he preceded her in death on Aug. 13, 1977. She then married Fred Koller on Dec. 30, 1978 and he preceded her in death on Dec. 31, 2002.
As a loving wife, mother of seven, grandmother of 23, great-grandmother of 52 and great-great-grandmother of 15, her greatest joy was spending time with her family and especially enjoyed hosting family gatherings every Sunday at the Kuntze cottage in the summer and fall at the Banat hunting camp.
She was a member of St. Fredericks Catholic Church in Daggett, where she was a member of the senior choir and St. Mary's Sanctuary Society.
Survivors include seven children, Bonnie (Michael) Topper of Cedar River, Carol (the late Jerome) Thomas of M 35 Menominee, Robert (Carol), William, Thomas (Margaret) and David (Sheila), all of Daggett and Richard of Nadeau, Mi. and the Koller family, William, Wesley, Eleanor, Lorraine, Rose, Elaine, Carol and their spouses; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Eloise (Koller) Kuntze, granddaughter, Kathy Topper; grandson, Richard Kuntze Jr.; great-great-granddaughter, Spencer Kaufman; step-daughters, Jean Pokovich and Audrey Koller and step-daughter-in-law, Terry Koller.
Due to COVID restrictions mandated by the State of Michigan, a visitation will be held at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home on Friday, Jan. 15, 2021. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Precious Blood Catholic Church, with Fr. Edward Baafi presiding. Burial will be in Stephenson Township Cemetery in Spring.
