THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Francis Fronsee, 96, passed away Friday, Feb. 14 at Evergreen Meadow Assisted Living in Michigan, where he resided.
Born June 4, 1917, son of the late Frank and Mary (Paul) Fronsee, he was employed at General Electric Medical Systems for 32 years, retiring in 1982.
He is survived by two sons, Peter (Patti), of Virginia and Gary of South Carolina; three daughters, Sue (Larry) Raiche, of Vulcan, Mi., Marge Carlson, of Iron River, Mi. and MaryAnn (Ron) Powell, of Niceville, Fla.; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 21 great-great-grandchildren; a great-great-great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Ronald; five sisters, Beatrice, Evelyn, Lillian, Dorothy and Pearl; a grandson, Wayne Raiche; a great-grandson, Andrew Carlson and a special friend, Monica Peterson.
Visitation was held Tuesday, Feb. 18 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Peshtigo from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 am. Burial was in Peshtigo Riverside Cemetery. Berth and Rosenthal Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
