The Peshtigo girls dropped a tough one to swallow on Saturday night, falling to Sevastpol by a 43-41 score after a last-gasp attempt to tie or win the game failed.
With just about 15 seconds to play and the Bulldogs down by three, Allison Dudka hit a shot that appeared to be a 3-pointer, but her toe was on the line and the Bulldogs still trailed by one.

Cougar Grapplers Crush the Competition at Bay Port Quad
Coleman swept their way through a tough Bay Port quad on Thursday, beating De Pere, Bay Port and Oconomowoc by significant margins.
Coleman beat Bay Port by a 52-16 score. Eight Cougars won live matches and two won by forfeit.

The Coleman Cougars were in dominant form against Denmark on Tuesday, Dec. 29, winning by a 59-9 score.
For Coleman, five pins led the way. Peter Kuchta started the match with a 2 minute, 59-second pin of Thomas Ullmer at 160. Cole Klimek (182) pinned Kody Bradley in 2:53, Cameron Kimmell (106) pinned Bradley Nellis in 2:49, Raymond LeMieux (113) pinned Owen Nys in 1:13 and Brady Gross (126) pinned Alec Bergelin in 5:57. It wasn't all pins for the Cougars, who were challenged on the night in several matches.

Bulldogs Run Away From Rangers in Non-Conference Play
The Peshtigo Bulldogs dominated former M&O Conference foes Wausaukee on Saturday, winning by a 53-17 score, with a 33-0 run in the middle of the game the exclamation point.
Despite the final score, it was actually the Rangers that came out strong and the Peshtigo offense that came out sputtering. With 10:40 to go in the first half, Wausaukee held a 7-6 lead following five points from Sparrow Luccarini.
