Alice May (Price) Swanson, 72, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019, surrounded by family at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay.
Born May 26, 1947 in Morgan Siding, Wi., to the late James and Ardis (Quinney) Price, she graduated from Southern Door High School in Sturgeon Bay in 1965. She worked at Lloyd-Flanders and later as a CNA at the Atrium Post Acute Care Center in Menominee and also in Home Health.
She was a proud member of the Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohican Indians. She liked going to garage sales, was a talented woodcarver and enjoyed fishing and painting, but her greatest joy was her family. She loved spending time with family and cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Tammy (Cecilia) Swanson of Menominee, Mi and Tracy (Robert) Adams of Crivitz; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren with baby great-granddaughter Biehl on the way; a sister, Shirley Turpin of Green Bay; two brothers, Ed (Carol) Price of Brussels and Dan (Pam) Price of Sturgeon Bay; a sister-in-law, Sandra Price of Brussels and other family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Amy and a brother, Bill Price.
Visitation was held at Cadieu Funeral Home in Menominee on Monday, June 24 from 3 p.m. until time of services at 6 p.m.
