Harold (Butch) Anthony Richlen, 94, of Crivitz, passed away Thursday, June 20 at his home.
Born May 12, 1925, on a farm west of Crivitz, to Edward and Amelia Richlen, he spent his entire life in Crivitz and met his wife, Virginia while working at Banaszak Chevrolet. She preceded him in death in 2016. He served his country during the Korean Conflict as a mechanic. He then worked at Witt's Auto before starting his own mechanic business and retired 40 years ago.
He enjoyed traveling, fishing, being in his yard mowing and feeding the birds and was an avid Packer fan.
Survivors include three children, Julie (Scott) Early of Clitherall, Mn., Jackie (Glenn) Seyfert of Peshtigo and Craig (Kathryn) Richlen of Weston, Ma.; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Virginia in 2016.
Family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, July 1 at Saint. Mary's Catholic Church from 9 a.m. until time of the funeral at 11 a.m. Rev. Frederick Sserugga will officiate with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home of Crivitz is assisting the family with arrangements.
