Michael Joseph Bellisle, 65, of Green Bay, formerly of Marinette, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019 at his residence in Green Bay after a long illness.
Born in Menominee, Mi., to the late James and Elizabeth (Cota) Bellisle, he graduated from Marinette High School in 1972, where he was active in student council and was an exceptional tennis player. He was a hotel manager at various properties in Marinette and Oshkosh, until becoming a management information systems professional.
He and his family lived in Marinette for many years, where he was involved in the community and coached baseball and softball. When his children grew older and he traveled around the world. He was known for his intelligence, affability and sense of humor and will be missed.
He is survived by four children, Bryan (Gail) Bellisle of Deerfield, Ill. and Stacy (Troy) Heller and Brett Bellisle, both of De Pere and Joshua Bellisle of Lima, Peru; three siblings, Thomas (Patti) Bellisle of Green Bay and Denise (Michael) LaCombe and Donna (Greg) Bohan, both of Marinette; two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Including his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary (Stephen) Olsen and a nephew, Brian LaCombe.
A Funeral Mass in his memory will be held at at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 2715 Taylor Street, Marinette on Saturday, June 29 at 11:30 a.m., followed by interment at Forest Home Cemetery. Simply Cremation of Green Bay is assisting the family with arrangements.
