Mary L. (Zuraski) Tenarvitz, 97, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Atrium Post Acute Care in Menominee.
Born June 5, 1922 in Peshtigo, to the late Michael and Mary (Bystrawski) Zuraski, she married Raymond Tenarvitz on July 17, 1948 at Sacred Heart Church in Marinette and he preceded her in death on Aug. 1, 2000.
A member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Birch Creek, she was family orientated, loved being around family and made sure they knew they were loved. She enjoyed gardening, yard work and being outside.
She is survived by a daughter, Ann Everson of Appleton; a son, Steve Tenarvitz and a brother, John (Carole) Zuraski, both of Menominee, Mi.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; four infant babies at birth; four sisters and two brothers.
Visitation was held Tuesday, July 2 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church from 9:30 a.m. until time of a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m., with Fr. Michael Ocran officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery in Menominee. Cadieu Funeral Home of Menominee assisted the family with arrangements.
