Lynne Ann (Berth) Mainik, 72, former resident of Green Bay and Wausaukee, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2019 with her children by her side at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay.
Born Jan. 25, 1947, to the late Elmer and Irma Berth, she graduated from Peshtigo High School in 1965. She married Philip Mainik on Sept. 26, 1967 and he preceded her in death on Dec. 25, 2010. She worked at Fort Howard in Green Bay, which later became Georgia Pacific, until retiring in 2006.
An avid Packer fan, she enjoyed playing cards, but especially time with family and friends. She will be remembered for her creative handmade greeting cards and will be missed by family and friends.
She is survived by two daughters, Lori Mainik and Tricia (Rick) Altergott; a grandson, Cooper Altergott; a sister, Mary (Dick) Spangenberg and two sisters-in-law, Joan Berth and Judy Bruemmer
Along with her parents and her husband, Philip, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and Dave Berth and a sister, Shirley Poulsen.
Visitation was held Monday, July 1 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 1731 St. Agnes Drive in Green Bay from 2 p.m. until time of services at 5 p.m., with Pastor Scott Malme officiating. John and Mark Berth, her nephews, from Berth and Rosenthal Funeral Home in Peshtigo assisted the family with arrangements.
