THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE

Robert (Bob) Chrusniak, age 71, Crivitz resident, passed away peacefully in his home, June 29th, 2019 after a short bout with cancer. He was better known as "Popeye" or "Painter Bob" by his BP coffee buddies.
He was always good for a smile and as he would say, he loved to "stir the pot". He loved his family, outdoors, his friends and his dogs. Bob will be missed more than he knew.
He is survived by his wife, Carla (Klukas), who he was married to for 46 years; a son, Rob Steffen (Michelle); Grandson, Noah of Menominee, MI.; His daughters, Rebecca (Kurt) Busjahn, granddaughter Gabriella of Peshtigo; Elizabeth (Chris) Kuntz, granddaughters, Isabel and Adrian of Pound; also sister-in-laws, Gail Klukas of Middle Inlet, Sharon Chrusniak of Grafton and Judy (Mike) Burbey, Colorado.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Helen Chrusniak; in-laws, Carl and Adriana Klukas; one brother, Ken Chrusniak; brother-in-law, Jim Klukas and a niece, Lisa Hunter-Burbey.
The family would like to thank those who reached out during this time, as it meant the world to them.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home in Crivitz, WI on Saturday, July 6th, from 11 a.m. until time of the Memorial Service at 1 p.m.
