Peshtigo Youth Track & Field Program is a Huge Success
Issue Date: July 3, 2019
During the month of June, the Peshtigo High School Track & Field coaching staff led by Joe and Stephanie Nault organized a youth track club open to all students going into kindergarten through 6th grade. With 29 total participants, the program was a success. The participants gained instruction to improve their skill in each of the track and field events.
On June 27th the kids participated in a track competition consisting of high jump, long jump, pole vault, shot put, discus, hurdles, short sprints, and relays. One goal of the club was to generate enthusiasm and a passion for track and field at a young age, with the hopes it will carry over into future years.
"We could not have done it without our coaching staff and high school track athletes volunteering their time and talents", said Stephanie Nault. "We thank each of the participants and their parents for helping to make it a successful and enjoyable season."
