Raymond "Chet" Millette, 81, of Goodman, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Nu-Roc Community Healthcare in Blackwell.
Born Aug. 5, 1937 in Goodman, to the late Wilfred and Helen (Spaeth) Millette, he married the former Loretta Matelski on June 28, 1958 at St. Leonard Catholic Church in Laona.
He helped establish the Goodman Fire Department and worked as an EMT for over 30 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and together they loved traveling all over the World.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Loretta; three children, Diane (Benjamin) Renkas, Gregory (significant other, Jodee) Millette and David Millette; two grandsons and a sister, Pat (Dennis) Gardner.
He was preceded in death by a son, Todd; a brother, Rob and six sisters, Maryanne, Mildred, Sadie, Marcella, Lucille and Joany.
Memorial visitation will be held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Goodman on Saturday, July 13 from 9 a.m. until time of a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Fr. Timothy Brandt will preside with full Military Honors provided by the American Legion Post #125 and VFW Post prior to Mass. Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting the family with arrangements.
