Nancy Marie (Goltz) Grandaw , 77, of Crivitz, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2019 with family by her side.
Born Sept. 17, 1941, to the late Henry and Rose (Kabacinski) Goltz, she married Arlin Gerald Grandaw on July 19, 1958 in Crivitz and was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Crivitz, where she taught religion, was an organist and a member of the choir for over 20 years. She also played the accordion in a band and for many funerals over the years.
They traveled the country and abroad to visit their children. Her homemade Christmas candy was in demand for over 40 years and she was also a 4H leader. An avid gardener and quilter she made over 30 quilts for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include nine children, Tim (Amy), David (Michelle), Ron, Mary, Bob (Sherrie), Steve, Sandy (Brent) Boettcher, Patrick and Dan; 21 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister, Ethel (Jeff) Weiscopf and a brother, Gerald (Mary) Goltz.
Family will greet relatives and friends at the St. Mary's Church in Crivitz on Friday, July 12 from 9 a.m. until time of the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Rev Frederick Sserugga will officiate with burial in the Church cemetery. Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home of Crivitz is assisting the family with arrangements.
