Marsha J. (Allard) Corsten, 69, of Marinette passed away Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2019 at the Luther Home after a brief battle with brain cancer.
Born Feb. 13, 1950, to the late Marshal and Mary Ellen (Quick) Allard in Menominee, Mi., she attended St. Anne's Elementary School and graduated from Marinette Catholic Central High School in 1968. She worked in Customer Service at Ansul and Airgas and then Marinette Senior Center coordinating activities and publishing's. She enjoyed her Quilting retreats, Bunco groups, stitching group and bingo at the Knights of Columbus.
A member of Holy Family Parish, the Altar Society and the Junior Women's Club, she also served as Chairperson of the Catholic Central Auction for 13 years.
She is survived by two sons, Jason (Jill) Corsten of Marinette and Christopher (Laura) Corsten of Menominee; a daughter, Kira (Christopher) Klimek of Marinette; a sister, Maxine (Paul) Drees; a brother, Jim (Sharon) Allard; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren with one on the way and many nieces; nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Suzanne Hauser and Laura Burby.
Visitation will be held at Holy Family Parish-Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Taylor St. on Saturday, Aug. 24 from 8:30 a.m. until time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., with Rev. Jack Harper officiating. Thielen Funeral Home of Marinette is assisting the family with arrangements.
