Robert "Bob" J. Hornick, 87, of Marinette, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2019 at Aurora Baycare in Green Bay.
Born Oct. 5, 1931, to the late Joseph and Mary (Wendel) Hornick in Menominee, Mi., he married Shirley LaCanne on May 26, 1956 in Marinette and she preceded him in death on Nov. 4, 2008. He worked for Marathon, American Can, Bell Fiber and Menominee Paper for over 40 years.
He enjoyed woodworking and working as a mechanic. He was a member of Peace United Church of Christ and the American Legion.
Survivors include a son, Dale (Gail) Hornick of Marinette; two daughters, Dawn (Dan) Buss and Lorie (Larry) Westbrook, both of Peshtigo; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, Shirley, he was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Mackinnly; four brothers, Ray, Joe, Ken and Leo and two sisters, Florence and Marion.
Visitation was held at Thielen Funeral Home on Saturday, Aug. 24 from 2 p.m. until time of a Prayer Service at 4 p.m. Pastor Linda Forray officiated with burial in Riverside Cemetery.
