17 at Even Monday Cards

On Monday, Sept. 9th, 17 people attended the Even Monday Card Club at the Stephenson Town Hall. Those who brought snacks were Diane Carpenter, Tom and Bonnie Roerdink, Barb Dunlap, Betty Rogalski, Phil Powers, Arlene Resch, Barb Kalke, Maxine Westein, Helen Kish, Bob Klelba, Ginny Taylor and Geri Schwan.
Rogalski called the business meeting to order leading The Flag Pledge and she gave the treasurer's report. Sue Collins is celebrating her 83rd birthday this month. Mary Berger won the cash door prize and donated it back to the club.
After the meeting an afternoon of card playing followed. Winners in cards were bridge-1st to Jim Carpenter, 2nd-Mary Berger; sheepshead winner was Betty Rogalski and 31 was Bonnie Roerdink.
The next meeting will be Sept. 23rd. Doors open at 11 a.m. The bridge players need more people and so do the rest of the players. Played are bridge, sheepshead and 31. Seniors are invited to attend.
