Issue Date: September 26, 2019
The Town of Stephenson ETZ Committee, consisting of Supervisors Andrew Rogers and Jim Stradl and Town Chair Mike Kudick, will meet separately at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30 to discuss the proposed Wellhead Protection Overlay District Ordinance and proposed groundwater protection regulations for the remainder of properties within the ETZ District boundaries.
Provisions of the Overlay District Ordinance and other proposed groundwater protection rules were aired at the last full ETZ Committee meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 24, and previously on Thursday, Aug. 22. The ETZ District includes all properties in the Town of Stephenson that lie within a mile and a half of the Crivitz Village limits.
Rogers was introduced to the Crivitz/Town of Stephenson Extraterritorial Zoning (ETZ) Committee as its newest member at a 6 p.m. meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 24, in the boardroom of the Crivitz Village Hall, 800 Henriette Ave., Crivitz.
Rogers was recently appointed to the Stephenson Town Board and the ETZ Committee to fill the vacancy left by the resignation of former Town Supervisor Kevin Solway, who has moved to Stephenson, Mich.
ETZ Committee meetings are generally held in the Crivitz Village Hall at 6 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of each month.
