Vivian Tolzman, 77, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2019 at Atrium Post Acute Care in Oconto Falls.
Born Sept. 2, 1942 in Oconto, to the late Raymond and Gladys Sager, she attended Suring High School and married Nicholas Tolzman on July 7, 1962 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Suring. She worked at Elliot's Glove Factory, Woodland Village Nursing Home and was an over the road truck driver with her husband.
They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary a few months before his passing in 2012. Together, they enjoyed riding motorcycles and watching sports, especially when their grandchildren were playing. Fall was her favorite time of year, she loved watching football and was a devoted Packer fan.
She loved time with family, had a great sense of humor, was fond of animals and enjoyed traveling, especially to Florida and Disney World. A longtime member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Suring, her faith was important to her.
She is survived by two children, Lisa (Kevin) Gilligan and Nicholas (Nichelle) Tolzman, both of Oconto Falls; three siblings, Shirley Fiala of De Pere, Gene (Patricia) Sager of Lena and Elaine (Calvin) Kostreva of Coleman; three grandchildren and many nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Tolzman and an infant brother, Lewellen Sager.
Visitation will be held Monday, Oct. 7, 2019 at St. Michael Catholic Church from 9 a.m. until time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., with Fr. David Barrett officiating. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home of Suring is assisting the family with arrangements.
