Gale Joseph "Joe" Knowlton, 69, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2019 in Sarasota Fla.
Born in 1950, to the late Axel and Rosella (Carberry) Knowlton, he was born with Down's Syndrome and his lifespan was anticipated to be about 30 years. He reached 69 years old due to the love and care in his early years from his parents and in later years by his loving sister Ione (and her husband Bob) Fowler. He lived life fully and enjoyed Mickey Mouse, Cheeseburger and Fries, Line Dancing and "beach" Florida.
He is survived by siblings, Richard, Lyle, Kathleen and Ione and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings, Irvin, Delbert, Gerald and Jeannette and a brother-in-law, Bob Fowler.
A Celebration of Life for immediate family will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery on Friday, Oct. 11. Donations can be made to a favorite charity of one's choice. Berth and Rosenthal Funeral Home of Peshtigo is assisting the family with arrangements.
