Chance W. Simmons, 22, of Marinette, passed away Thursday evening, Oct. 24, 2019.
Born Dec. 8, 1996 in Jackson, MS., to Mike and Jacky, he graduated from Marinette High School in 2015 and worked at Precision Iceblasting in Peshtigo.
He was passionate about traveling and exploring the world, enjoyed shooting guns, fishing, playing video games and being around his friends and family, but mostly took pride in being an uncle and will be missed, especially by his nephews.
Survivors include his parents, Jacky and Kevin Kessel; five siblings, Alex Kessel, Wade (Kathleen) Simmons, Brody (Kassie) Kessel, Kaylyn (Tom) Tarlton and Autumn (Andrew) Kessel; four nephews Jace, Keegen, Michael, and Ivan; a niece Raelynn; grandparents, Linda Peterson, Elaine (Ed) Camarda and Rebecca Simmons; his best friend since grade school, Ricky Carlson, roommate and close friend, Ethan Miller and many more friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mike Simmons; grandfathers, Dale Peterson and Stanley Simmons; great-grandmothers, Violet Swanson, Inez Murray, Wilma Ammons and Fannie Peterson; great-grandfathers, Alvin Swanson, Albert Peterson and Ed Murray and a close friend, Tomis Vazquez.
Friends may call Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home in Marinette on Friday, Nov. 1 from 3 p.m. until time of the service at 5 p.m., with Rev. Linda Forray Officiating.
