Shirley Ann (Rakowski) Jevorutsky, 83, of Pound, passed away Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay.
Born June 18, 1936, to the late John and Minnie (Tachick) Rakowski, she married Chester Jevorutsky on July 24, 1954 at Section Eight Baptist Church in Pound.
A faithful, hard working farm wife, she was a dedicated, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and faithful member of Section Eight Baptist Church.
She was a good cook and fed many family members and farm hands from her kitchen. After retirement, she then cooked at several area restaurants.
Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Chester; four children, Richard Jevorutsky, Pound, Janice (Gary) VanderBloemen, Coleman, Julie (David) Jeavons, Roanoke, Va. and Leanne (Randy) Hoffman, Ashland; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Virgil Rakowski and also Renee Miller who was like a daughter to her.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin and Leroy Rakowski.
Family will greet relatives and friends at Section Eight Baptist Church in Pound on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m., with Pastor Kevin Holland officiating. Burial will be in First Baptist Cemetery in Pound. Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home of Coleman is assisting the family with arrangements.
