Veterans Day Program at Crivitz Nov. 11th

Commander Mark Crowley of the Crivitz American Legion Netzel-Zenz Post 413 announces guest speaker for the Veterans Day program on Monday, Nov. 11th at the Crivitz High School gym will be Lieutenant Colonel Max Brosig of the Wisconsin National Guard.
Lieutenant Colonel Brosig has been a Blackhawk Helicopter pilot for over 20 years with deployments to Ecuador, Peru, Egypt, Kosovo and Iraq. He currently serves as the Provost Marshal for the Wisconsin National Guard and is the Deputy Brigade Commander of the 157th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade (MED) headquartered out of Milwaukee.
The National Anthem and all service songs will be played by the Crivitz High School Band under the direction of Mr. Brian Kopfhammer. Songs will be sung by the Crivitz High School choir led by Mrs. Staci Suennen. The Crivitz Legion Post 413 and VFW Post 2063 will present and retire the colors.
All veterans, spouses, Auxiliary members and the public are asked to meet in the cafeteria at 9:30 a.m. for coffee and cookies with the program in the gym starting at 10 a.m. Veterans are encouraged to wear their Legion or VFW cap.
After the program, veterans, spouses and Auxiliary members should go to the Legion Clubhouse for chili and special treats free of charge. The clubhouse is located at 251 N 141,Crivitz, across from the Piggly Wiggly. For more information, contact Commander Crowley at (715) 938-4935.
