Lorraine A. (Erickson) Wendland, 88, of Carney, Mi., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019 with family by her side at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay.
Born July 20, 1931 in Carney, to the late Mandus and Irene (Mellen) Erickson, she graduated from Stephenson High School in 1949 and worked at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers as a cook.
A member of the Carney Evangelical Free Church, she volunteered as a foster grandparent at the Carney Nadeau School and enjoyed reading, sewing and cooking.
She is survived by three children, Sue (Steve) Bellmore of Green Bay, Tom Wendland of Boise, Id. and James Wendland of Carney; four grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Visitation was held on Monday, Nov. 4, 2019 at Carney Evangelical Free Church from 2 p.m. until time of the Memorial Service at 4 p.m., with Pastor Kit Bogan officiating. Anderson Diehm Funeral Home of Stephenson assisted the family with arrangements.
