Roland H. Treptow, 82, of Marinette, passed away on Monday, Oct. 21, 2019 after many health issues.
Born August 21, 1937, to the late Arthur and Minnie (Roeder) Treptow of Grover, WI. He married Carolyn A. Costigan of Marinette.
He attended Lena High School and was involved in sports and was involved in ski group trips in his younger years, playing softball with the Safeguard team in Marinette; helping with company picnics at Zeaman Park & City Park in Marinette. He enjoyed get togethers with a group of friends at Mickey-Lu-Bar-B-Q in Marinette every week.
A retired electrician and held previous supervisory management positions. He attended various training classes and seminars throughout the years. He worked at places including Safeguard, Rodman, UP Bio, Vos Electric, etc. Years ago he sold farm equipment and helped people with various backhoe work.
Surviving are his daughter, Renell Marquardt; his brother, Donald Treptow and other family and friends.
Including his parents, and other relatives he was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Treptow, one sister, Bernita Polzin and his wife, Carolyn Costigan Treptow.
Family could pay their respect and prayers to Forest Home Cemetery, 2420 Mary Street, Marinette, WI. Section E Block 28 Lot 1 Grave 5E. He was visited by chaplain(s). After such health related intense stressful months he did not want a funeral. Family decided on something simple and peaceful. Hansen Onion Martell is assisting with arrangements.
