Henry "Hank" Wenzel, 82, of Oconto, passed away Friday, Feb. 14, 2020 with family by his side.
Born April 27, 1937, to the late Hank and Fronie Wenzel, he married the love of his life, Frieda Kaminski on June 18, 1960 and they were married for 60 years.
He is survived by six children, Cheryl (Glenn) Tagge, Roy (Michelle) Wenzel, Kathleen (Donald) Sanderson, Charlene (Royce) Jones, Rose Wenzel and Joseph Wenzel; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two siblings, Nancy Schilling and Pat Wenzel and many nieces; nephews and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three daughters, Linda, Sheila and Christy; two sisters, Arless and Germaine and a brother, James.
The family will greet relatives and friends at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Lena on Monday, Feb. 24 from 10 a.m. until time of a service at noon, with Pastor Ryan Landwehr officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery in Spruce.
