Virginia May (Rastall) Wachal, 82, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020 at her home.
Born May 22, 1937 in Marinette, to the late George and Lucille (Wagner) Rastall, she graduated from Marinette High School. On Nov. 23, 1957, she married John Wachal at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Walsch and he preceded her in death on Jan. 23, 2006. She worked at Ansul from where she retired.
A member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, she enjoyed bowling, her dogs, snowmobiling, camping and attending music festivals, but mostly loved her family and her farm animals.
She is survived by two sons, John Michael (Dawn) Wachal of Ingalls, Mi. and Mark Wachal of Green Bay; two daughters, Kelly (Harry) Caron of Watersmeet, Mi. and Tammy (Jay) Anderson of Menominee, Mi.; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by all of her siblings.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Feb.19 at Cadieu Funeral Home in Menominee from 4 p.m. until time of a Prayer Service at 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, Feb. 20 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church at 10 a.m., with Fr. Jubish Joseph officiating. Burial will be in Spring in Birch Creek Cemetery.
