Clarence "Chuck" Nason, Jr., 78, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Thursday, Feb. 13, 2020 at Aurora Medical Center, Bay Area.
Born March 12, 1941 in Menominee, Mi., to the late Clarence and Ruth Nason, Sr., he married the former Sandra Imhoff on June 15, 1991 in Menominee. He worked as a diesel mechanic at Stang's, Enstrom Helicopter, was a small engine mechanic at Orpy's and retired from DeCrane Aircraft as a welder.
He enjoyed racing snowmobiles in the 70's and was a jack of all trades who could fix anything, but his passion was hunting and fishing with his two sons.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy of Menominee; children, Mark Nason of Wallace, Mi., Michelle Middlestaedt-Bockhorn of Dallas, Tx. and Jeff (Elizabeth) Nason of Perronville, MIi.; three grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Kwak of Perronville, Mi.; two step-children, Jennifer (Jeff Bush) Hohman of Marinette and Suzanne (Rich) Larson of Iron Mountain, Mi.; two step-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, James (Ruth) Imhoff of Waukesha; a sister-in-law, Janice Imhoff of New Baltimore, Mi.; best friend, Lester (Gail) Sieglaff of Menominee; special friends, Chris and Katie Baldwin and family of Menominee and many nieces and nephews.
Family received friends at Cadieu Funeral Home in Menominee on Monday, Feb. 17 from 4 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 6 p.m., with Pastor Tom Mackay officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at a later date.
