Wausaukee Gives Stipend for Students
Issue Date: February 20, 2020
The Wausaukee "Excellence in Education" Foundation (WEEF) announces the availability of a limited number of student stipends for activities that meet the fund mission criteria. The mission of the WEEF is to enhance district offerings and to initiate innovative projects and programs that enrich Wausaukee students' exposure and engagement in Fine Arts and Language Arts, Gifted and Talented Offerings, and Math, Science and Technology.
The stipends may be requested by any student currently attending school at Wausaukee. Activities such as camps, workshops, field trips tied to learning and enrichment in the mission areas are examples of what can be considered in a request. Activities that took place or will take place from July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020 will be considered. Students will need to submit requests by May 15th. Forms are available in the District Office or from Mrs. Donna Pintarelli.
In addition to making student stipends available, the Foundation supports other activities and projects that impact student learning and provide enrichment such as Arts in the Schools Day, and Opera for the Young presented at the elementary school.
Anyone interested in being part of the legacy of this support to our students and programs, consider a donation. Any amount is appreciated. Gift cards can also be provided upon request for anyone wishing to donate on behalf of someone else. All donations to the Foundation are tax-deductible, but checks must be made out to the Wausaukee School "Excellence in Education" Foundation with M&M Foundation written in the memo line.
