Coleman School Board To Meet Monday May 11

The Coleman School District will meet on Monday, May 11 at 7 p.m. in the Elementary/Middle School Library.
On the agenda will be reports by principal and superintendent, and election of board officers.
Matters requiring board action include resignation for the purpose of retirement of Joan Casper, Elementary teacher; hiring of Teya Lambie, Elementary teacher; 2nd reading of policies; resolution on request for DPI waiver due to the Covid-19 public health emergency for requirements related to instructional hours, educator effectiveness, and Civics graduation exam; food service milk/milk prices; creation of part-time maintenance position; certified staff contracts.
Also extra curricular letters of appointment, appoint school board member as WASB delegate and alternate; appoint school board member as CESA annual convention representative, and Wellness Committee representative; Start College Now applications; other district donations; and other hiring and resignations.
Closed session is possible for employee compensation.
