Richard A. "Dick" Spross, 79, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Monday, May 11, 2020 at Menominee Health Services.
Born Oct. 12, 1940 in Toledo, Oh., to the late James and Esther (Montgomery) Spross Sr., he served in the United States Air Force from 1960 and was discharged in 1964. On April 24, 1965 he married Roana Bruso at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Menominee and worked at LE Jones for 43 years.
A member of Woodland Bowman Archery Club, he loved hunting, gardening, cooking and was an avid Bible Reader, but especially enjoyed time with family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Roana of 55 years; children, Gina (Terry) Vincent of Neenah, Brenda (Neil) Tuthill of Peshtigo, Brad (Ann) Spross of Wausau and Kelly (Jason) Taylor of Menominee, Mi.; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; two brothers, Jack Spross of Toledo, Oh. and Terry (Phyllis) Spross of Peoria, Az.; a close friend, Gene Fox and many brothers; sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Judy Spross.
A private family gathering will be held at Cadieu Funeral Home in Menominee, with burial in Birch Creek Cemetery.
