Terry L. Sievert, 60, of Porterfield, passed away Friday, May 8, 2020 surrounded by family, after a short battle with cancer.
Born Aug. 5, 1959, to the late Lyle and Alice (Kiefer) Sievert in Menominee, Mi., he served in the United States Navy from 1976 - 1980 and on July 2, 2004, he married Cindy Runnoe. He worked for Franks Energy Savers, Montex and recently Marinette Marine where he was a member of the Local Boilermakers Union #696.
He enjoyed playing rugby, fishing, going to the casino with his brother Tracy, the Packers and Brewers, but his passion was softball which he played for over 30 years, and he loved time with family.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Cindy Sievert of Porterfield; children, Mindy (Andy Houle) Sievert and Amy Barrette, both of Menominee, Jaimee Sievert of Owensboro, Ky., Jacob (Hollie) Runnoe of Huntingburg, Ind. and Megan Sievert of Porterfield; five grandchildren; two brothers, Mike (Debbie) Sievert of Peshtigo and Tracy Sievert of Menominee; a sister, Patty (Gary) Thurow of Marinette.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Dave Barrette and a sister, Bonnie Peterson.
The family will have a private Celebration of Life in his honor. Thielen Funeral Home of Marinette is assisting the family.
