Peshtigo Memorial Day Service is May 25th

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Peshtigo American Legion Post 312 and Peshtigo VFW Post 8813 will hold a small Memorial Service at the Riverside Memorial Cemetery site at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 25. They will honor all veterans that paid the ultimate sacrifice in all past and present wars.
This will be a private service for some members only. They will also unveil the new monument dedicated to all who served in the Middle East wars. Thank you to all who made donations to the monument.
If members of the public would like to view the area, Legion members ask persons to come by after 12 noon, a few at a time, but please follow State and Federal rules.
There are new flags at the monument site and new light and flags at cemetery entrance.
Those who donated to the new Memorial include Peshtigo American Legion Auxiliary, Russ Martin, Zion Lutheran Church, Ron, Loretta and Shawn Kaempf, Dr. Bruce Barrette, Robyn and Craig Chernetski, Menominee Sons of the Legion Post 146, Jerome Frank, Shirley Motkowski, Marth Wood Pellets, Eugene Frank, Peshtigo Woman's Club, Center Bowl, Eagle Express, Aacer Flooring.
