Wilda Ann Peterson Olson, 94, of Marinette, passed away Saturday morning, June 20, 2020 at the Luther Home where she lived since January.
Born Jan. 6, 1926 in Marinette, to William and Doris (England) Strem, she spent her early life in Marinette. She married Orville Olson and he preceded her in death and they lived in DeKalb, Ill. for over 38 years where she worked as a nurse practitioner in hospitals.
Known for her kind and loving nature, she will be remembered for her sweet and gentle ways.
Survivors include four children, Darlene (Wayne) Williams of Marinette, Debra (Stephen) Jaskulske of Racine, Janet (Lee) Kujak of New Glarus and Mark (Petnapa) Peterson of Waukesha; a son-in-law, Perry Hallfrisch; three step-children, Andra Olson of Cortland, Ill. and Gale and Owen Olson; seven grandchildren, one great-granddaughter who is serving in the United States Marines; three brothers, Jim Strem, Harry Strem and John Strem and many friends and family members
In addition her her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Orville; a daughter, Terrie Hallfrisch; a brother, William Strem and a sister, Jean Phelps.
Per her wishes, a private family Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home in Marinette. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery in Marinette.
