Genevieve "Judy" Spaude, 94, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2020 at Roubal Care and Rehab Center in Stephenson, Mi.
Born Sept. 16, 1926 in Pulaski, to the late Joseph and Pearl Skinkis, she married Frederick W. Spaude on Oct. 4, 1947 and he preceded her in death on March 14, 2003.
A long time member of Christ Lutheran Church where she was active in Church activities, was very social, an avid bowler and enjoyed going shopping where she loved watching people. She cherished times spent with family, especially holiday gatherings and Sunday dinners.
Survivors include three children, Nancy (Michael) Elson of Wallace, Mi., Lee (Linda) Spaude of Daggett, Mi. and Laurie (Kevin) Beattie of Cedar River, Mi.; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and a brother, Stanley Skinkis of Black Creek.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; a brother and four sisters.
Visitation was held at Christ Lutheran Church in Menominee on Monday, Sept. 28 from 1:30 p.m. until time of a funeral service at 2:30 p.m., with Pastor Paul Cole presiding. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery in Menominee. Anderson Kell Funeral Home of Menominee assisted the family with arrangements.
