Christine M. Krienke, 70, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2020 with her son by her side, after complications from surgery.
Born Feb. 7, 1950 in Marinette, to Eleanor and the late E.F. (Bud) Landerman, she graduated from Marinette High School in 1968. Her first marriage of 18 years was to John Neilio on June 28, 1969. She then met and married the love of her life, the late Douglas Krienke, on April 27, 1990. She worked as a legal secretary for local law offices and was co-owner of the Marinette Lumber Yard with her husband Doug until they retired in 2012.
She enjoyed jewelry making, collecting various items, and riding motorcycles with Doug and her friends, the Free Riders. She also looked forward to outings with her two sisters and going to the casino. A member of the Red Hat Society, she was known for her hugs and would not let anyone get away without one.
Survivors include a son, Tony Neilio (Becky Fairchild); her mother, Eleanor Landerman; two sisters, Maureen Landerman and Eileen Nicklaus; a sister-in-law, Sally Zimmer; a niece, Amy Johnson; a nephew, Matt Johnson and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Douglas Krienke on Feb. 17, 2020 and her father, E.F. (Bud) Landerman.
Services will be determined and announced at a later time. Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home of Marinette is assisting the family with arrangements.
