Joanne Rose (Barley) Headman, 75, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2020 at Bellin Memorial Hospital in Green Bay.
Born Nov. 15, 1944 in Menominee, to the late Ervin and Helen (Adesko) Barley, on June 20, 1963, she married James A. Headman in Menominee and he preceded her in death on Feb. 26, 2020. She worked at K-Mart in the clothing and jewelry department for over 25 years and at H&R Block for four years until retiring.
She enjoyed going to the casino, thrift shops and watching and feeding the birds, but mostly loved time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church in Menominee.
Survivors include a daughter, Kelly (Duane) Cooper of Menominee; a son, John (Kathy) Headman of Deerton, Mi.; three grandchildren; a sister, Lorraine Barcewski of Menominee and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held at Cadieu Funeral Home in Menominee on Monday, Nov. 2 from 5 p.m. until time of a Memorial Service at 7 p.m., with Fr. Brian Gerber presiding. A Celebration to further celebrate her life will be announced at a later date.
