Kennedy Marquardt is Lena Lions November Student of the Month

The Lena Lions Club honored Kennedy Ann Marquardt, daughter of Cory and Jody Marquardt, as the Lena Lions Student of the Month for November. The award was presented by Jim Torzala, Lena High School and Middle School Principal.
Marquardt's activities include Basketball, Cross Country, Track and Volleyball Manager. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, L-Club and the Academic Bowl Team. Her friends describe her as hardworking, smart, kind and funny.
Her hobbies include downhill skiing, running, hiking, fishing and spending time with family. Her community activities are helping with the Lena Lions Club Fish Fry, Dirt City, Lena Fire Department Picnic, Toss for Charity, Adopt a Family, Breakfast on the Farm and Youth Wrestling.
Kennedy's work experience includes working as a CNA at Meadow Brook Nursing Home in Oconto Falls.
She plans on earning a bachelors degree in Nursing. She wants to continue her education to earn a master's degree in Nursing to become a Nurse Practitioner. She also wants to compete in Track & Field while in college.
