James "Jimmy" Lee Martin, 49, of Coleman, passed away Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay after a long battle with a heart condition.
Born Nov. 21, 1970 in Menomonee Falls, Wi., to Dallas, Jr. and Anne (Aubry) Martin, he enjoyed participating on the Coleman Wrestling Team and took second place at the state meet in 1988. He graduated from Coleman High School and worked in construction for many years.
He loved playing guitar in the bands High Roller and Dreams Fate. The group enjoyed playing for people all over the area where he made many special friends. He had a special cat named Bear who he cared for deeply.
Surviving are his father, Dallas and aunts; uncles and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Elienne and Arnold Aubry; paternal grandparents, Dallas, Sr. and Gertrude (Batten) Martin; his mother, Anne (Aubry) Martin in 2015; two aunts and one uncle.
The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Anne Catholic Church in Coleman on Friday, Nov. 20 from 9 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m., with Fr. Felix Abano officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Crivitz. Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home of Coleman is assisting the family.
