Barbara J. EricksonIssue Date: November 18, 2020 Barbara J. (Kushman) Erickson, 74, of Carney, Mi., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020 at her home surrounded by family.
Born Sept. 25, 1946 in Marinette, to the late Glen and Erma (Buckley) Kushman, she married Duane Erickson on July 31, 1976 in Marinette and worked as a Dental and Orthodontic Assistant at various offices through the years.
A sweet, kind, warm hearted person, she loved taking care of children in her home, was a very faithful wife and mother, had a strong faith in the Lord and was a member of the Carney Evangelical Free Church. She enjoyed being at her home, cooking and taking care of her flowers.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Duane and a son, Bradley, both of Carney, Mi.; a twin sister, Betty (Randy) Waller of Woodstock, Ill; a brother, Don Kushman of Elgin, Ill; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Kushman of Marion, Ind. and many close nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Katie and a brother, David Kushman.
Private services will be held at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home in Stephenson, Mi., with Pastor Kit Bogan officiating.
