Dale C. Berg, 76, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Friday, Nov. 6, 2020 at Aurora Medical Center, Bay Area.
Born Nov. 21, 1943, to the late Ray and Marie (Hoffman) Berg in Sturgeon Bay, he graduated from Casco High School in 1961 and then served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked at Proctor and Gamble for over 20 years and the United States Post Office in Abrams for a couple years.
In 2012, he moved to Marinette to be closer to his grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and time with his grandchildren, but especially fishing in Eric's backyard.
He is survived by two sons, Shawn (Cindy) Berg of Mukwonago and Eric (Melissa) Berg of Marinette; a daughter, Kim Boldt of Milwaukee; six grandchildren; two sisters, Faye (Randy) Halewinski of Howard-Saumico and Yvonne "Nonnie" (Kenny) LeGreve of Manitowoc and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, David (Joyce) Berg.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at his son's home. Thielen Funeral Home of Marinette is assisting the family.
