Clarence Bach, 95, formerly of Wallace, Mi., passed away Monday, Nov. 9, 2020 at the Luther Home in Marinette.
Born April 17, 1925 in the Town of Wagner, to Victor and Hedwig (Wickman) Bach, he was from a rural family and attended Marinette High School, graduating in 1943. During World War II, he served with the United States Army in Italy and was awarded a Bronze Battle Star. He married the former Elizabeth (Betty) Christenson on June 5, 1949 and they lived in the area until her passing on Jan. 26, 2009. For many years he worked at Ansul Company and also farmed in Porterfield and Wallace.
He is survived by four children, Gail (Dale) Gusick, Nancy Bach (Michael O'Connell), James Bach and Victor (Karen) Bach; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a sister, Jane (Bach) Zuern.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth and siblings, Robert Bach, Charles Bach, John Bach and Doris (Bach) Salzman.
A private family graveside service was held Friday, Nov. 13 at Forest Home Cemetery in Marinette, with Chaplain Karen Anne Hanson officiating. Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home of Marinette assisted the family.
